Terms of Service
Effective date: 6 March 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Ask The Squad. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Account and Eligibility
You are responsible for your account activity and keeping your login details secure. You must provide accurate information and comply with all applicable laws when using the service.
2. Credits, Plans, and Payments
Subscriptions and credit packs are securely processed by Lemon Squeezy. Physical merch checkout is securely processed by Stripe.
We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Payment method handling and billing instruments are managed by those payment providers.
Credit usage and allocation rules are described in-product (including pricing, included allowances, and extra operation charges). Free generation outputs are public-only. Paid usage allows additional visibility controls, subject to moderation and product constraints.
3. Refunds, Cancellations, and Returns
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis until canceled. If you cancel a subscription, the cancellation applies to future renewals and you will usually retain access for the remainder of the current billing period. Except where required by law or applied by the billing provider, subscription payments already made are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or prorated credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or unused included subscription credits.
Credit packs are one-time digital purchases. Because pack credits are made available to your account shortly after purchase and may be used over time, credit pack purchases are generally non-refundable once completed, except where required by law or where we determine that a duplicate charge, billing error, or technical failure caused the purchase to be made in error.
Merchandise orders may be canceled for a full refund only before production or fulfillment begins. Once an order has entered production, has been personalized, or has shipped, change-of-mind cancellations and refunds are generally unavailable. If merchandise arrives damaged, defective, materially different from what you ordered, or does not arrive at all, contact us through the contact page or the merch order support flow, and we may offer a replacement, refund, or other remedy as appropriate.
4. User Content and Permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit to the service (including prompts and uploaded files). You grant Ask The Squad a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, modify, adapt, display, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, improve, secure, moderate, and provide the service and related features.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assign to Ask The Squad all right, title, and interest (including all copyright and neighbouring rights) in and to each comic, panel, and all text included in that comic that is generated through the service (Generated Comic Content). If any such rights do not automatically vest in Ask The Squad, you irrevocably assign them to Ask The Squad on creation and agree to do any further acts reasonably required to give full effect to that assignment.
If you upload or convert images into avatar images, you are solely responsible for making sure you have all rights, licenses, and permissions required to use those images.
You must not upload, generate, or share content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates privacy/publicity rights, or breaches applicable law.
5. Comic Use and Sharing Rights
Ask The Squad owns the Generated Comic Content and reserves all rights not expressly granted in these terms.
Subject to your plan, privacy settings, and these terms, Ask The Squad grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use and share comics generated from your account for personal or commercial purposes in their original unaltered form.
Public comics may be viewed, shared, used on merch, and used as the basis for remixes by other users. Unlisted comics may be accessed and shared by anyone with the direct link. Private comics are not available for public sharing, merch use, or remixing by other users.
No transfer of ownership is made to users or third parties except where transfer is required by non-waivable law.
We may remove or restrict content that breaches policy, legal requirements, or moderation standards.
6. Acceptable Use and Moderation
You agree not to misuse the service, including attempts to bypass controls, abuse systems, harass others, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.
We may moderate, reject, unlist, archive, or remove content and may suspend or terminate accounts for policy or safety reasons.
7. Service Availability and Changes
We may update features, pricing, limits, policies, and plan details over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific outputs, or error-free operation.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ask The Squad and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of the service.
9. Contact and Updates
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. For questions, contact us via the contact page .
